All of our dulcimers can be purchased separately if you already have the accessories, but most folks want them as a complete package with everything necessary to play the hammered dulcimer which includes:

- Good Case
- Stand of your choice, either standing or seated
- Good Double Face Hammers
- Tuning Wrench
- Book: Mel Bay’s You Can Teach Yourself Hammered Dulcimer with online video
- If you don’t already have an electronic tuner, we recommend a smart phone app called PanoTuner. It is free and available for both Android and iOS. Also more accurate.
The package price offers quite a savings over purchasing all the items separately, so it is a good deal.
We no longer carry the electronic tuner believing they have become redundant since most folks have a smart phone. The tuner apps we recommend are Pano Tuner which is free, and Cleartune which is $3.99. Both work easily and well, and are more accurate than an electronic tuner. Both are available for iOS or Android. Cleartune (Android, iOS) has a lot more settings and functions, but for just tuning a dulcimer, Pano Tuner is great. If for some reason you still need an electronic tuner, let us know, and we can add one on to your purchase.
