Heavy Duty Carrying Cases: 2 Sizes

These cases provide good protection for your dulcimer and also economical. If you are buying a case separate from a dulcimer or complete package, you’ll need to let us know which size you need.  We have two sizes:

• Small: The one for the smaller dulcimers fits instruments that are 36 1/2″ long, 15 1/2″ across, 17″ along the top rail and 4″ thick overall including the bridges. Heavy duty ballistic nylon shells, high density foam padding and built right! This case doesn’t have any zippers, which means there is no risk of having a zipper break (which can render a case useless).  Instead the flaps are folded and secured with velcro on the handle. To find out how to insert the dulcimer inside, check out the video below. There are three separate pockets where you can easily slide in your tuning accessories or sheet music. • Large: The larger one fits dulcimers that are 42″ long, 19″ across, 17″ along the top rail, and 4″ thick overall. The larger one will fit many different dulcimers (as well as small dulcimers with a stand inside). This one is secured by zipper and has a zippered pocket. Comes in gray, shown below. Heavy duty ballistic nylon shells, high density foam padding. Very good case, made in Vietnam.

Either case cost the same: $125. You will need to specify which case you need when you order.
